Come and visit the Lubbesthorpe Market on Saturday 11th May. Running along side the market with be the eco/sustainability event. including thing such as

• Weigh clothes, bring in unwanted clothes the PTA will then sell these for funds
• Help to build a large bug hotel – The PTA are going to build a large Bug hotel in the school grounds
• make wild flower seed balls
• publicising its sustainable travel – GoTravel will be promoting
• making bird fat balls from fir cones
• worksheets for no mow may
• worksheets for nature garden
• Cr. Bike - bike repair man
• recycling – Leicestershire County Council will be providing information and activities relating to recycling.
• recycling electrical items – bring along your working small electrical item to be donated to mind for reuse / recycle
• Pumpkin seeds – the parish council will provide children with pumpkin seeds for them to plant, take home and grow on.
• Plant swap - bring along those plants that you no longer want or those seedling that you have too many of, leave them on the table for other people
• litter pick – get involved with litter picking in Lubbesthorpe. We will provide equipment and you get a free drink when you finish
